2.3 Third-Party Accounting Integrations
Dealer accounts may optionally connect third-party accounting platforms to sync sales data. When you connect one of these services, we access and transmit data as described:
- QuickBooks Online (Intuit): When you authorize Wristly to connect to your QuickBooks Online account, we receive an OAuth access token and your QuickBooks company ID ("Realm ID"). We use this to create customer records, invoices, and payment records in QuickBooks on your behalf for watch sales you sync. We store your QuickBooks access token and refresh token securely in our database solely to provide this feature. We do not share your QuickBooks data with any other third party. You may disconnect the integration at any time from your dealer Settings page, which revokes our access. For information on how Intuit handles your data, see the Intuit Privacy Statement.
- Wave Accounting: When you authorize Wristly to connect to your Wave account, we receive an OAuth access token and your Wave business ID. We use this to create customers, invoices, and payment records in Wave for watch sales you sync. You may disconnect at any time from your dealer Settings page.
2.4 Information from Third Parties

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Wristly uses cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, understand user behavior, and deliver personalized and targeted advertising. By using the Platform, you consent to the use of these technologies as described below.
5.1 Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential / Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for authentication, session management, security, and core Platform functionality. Cannot be disabled without breaking the Platform.
- Analytics Cookies: Used to measure how users interact with the Platform — which pages are visited, how long users stay, and where they navigate. We use services such as Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, and similar tools for this purpose.
- Marketing and Advertising Cookies: Used to deliver targeted advertisements on Wristly and on third-party platforms (such as Google, Meta/Facebook, and Instagram) based on your browsing behavior and interests. These enable retargeting, meaning ads for Wristly may follow you to other websites after you visit us.
- Preference Cookies: Used to remember your settings, display preferences, account configurations, and saved filters across sessions.
- Third-Party Cookies: Some cookies are set by third-party service providers embedded in the Platform (e.g., social media share buttons, embedded video players, ad networks). These are governed by those third parties' privacy policies.
5.2 What We Track
Through these technologies, we and our advertising partners may track:
- Which watch listings you view and for how long
- Search terms and filters you use
- Dealers and watches you favorite or follow
- Ads or emails you click, and the pages you land on afterward
- Your general location (city/region level)
- Your device, browser, and connection information for fraud prevention and analytics
5.3 How to Control Cookies
You have the following options to manage cookies:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings menus. Note that blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using core features.
- Opt out of Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Opt out of interest-based ads: Visit optout.aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (EU) to opt out of participating advertising networks
- Do Not Track: Our Platform does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals, as no industry-wide standard exists. We do honor opt-out requests submitted through the mechanisms above.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (AES-256)
- Secure password hashing with bcrypt
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Access controls and authentication requirements
- Secure cloud infrastructure with automatic backups
- PCI-DSS compliant payment processing
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
7.1 Access and Correction
You can access and update your account information through your settings page. You can also request a copy of your data by contacting us at privacy@wristly.io.
7.2 Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information, though we may retain certain data for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes. Note that content previously used in marketing materials may remain in those materials per the license granted in our Terms of Service.
7.3 Marketing Communications
You can opt out of promotional emails by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email or by updating your notification preferences in your account settings. Opting out of email marketing does not opt you out of targeted advertising shown on the Platform or on third-party sites.
7.4 Targeted Advertising Opt-Out
To opt out of interest-based advertising, you may:
- Adjust your ad settings within your Google or Meta account
- Visit optout.aboutads.info to opt out of participating ad networks
- Use your browser's cookie controls to block third-party cookies
Note: Opting out of targeted advertising does not stop all ads — it means the ads you see will be less personalized.
7.5 Cookie Preferences
See Section 5 for detailed information about cookies and how to manage them. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in or use core Platform features.
8. Children's Privacy
Wristly is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
10. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:
- Account information: Until you delete your account
- Transaction records: 7 years (for tax and legal compliance)
- Messages: Until either party deletes them
- Watch listings: 90 days after removal or sale
- Audit logs: 2 years for security purposes
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics data: Indefinitely, as it cannot be used to identify you
11. Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of Wristly after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
